PIN MARTHA PASSENGER PIGEON

Martha, "the world’s last passenger pigeon", passed away at the Cincinnati Zoo on September 1, 1914. Once the most numerous bird species on Earth, the passenger pigeon was hunted into extinction. The building where she lived was renovated on the 100th anniversary of her death and serves as a reminder of the importance of conservation and protecting wildlife.
